The DESA Media Center utilizes a flexible/fixed scheduling model to support curriculum goals and foster student achievement. The accessibility encourages collaborative planning for whole classes, small groups, and individual students at the point of need. Educational technology is incorporated into the learning/research process. The media center has sixteen computers with Internet access, over 10,000 books, and several ebooks and databases available for students and teachers.

 

 The DESA Media Center welcomes volunteers. Parent volunteers are needed to help re-shelve books, process new books, mend worn books, check in returned books or assist with any other special projects that may be taking place. An hour or two a week is greatly appreciated. Drop ins are also welcome.
