Greetings New DeKalb Arts Academy Families,
Welcome to the DeKalb Arts Academy, formerly known as DeKalb Elementary School of the Arts! We are thrilled to have you and your family join our school community.
To help you get acquainted with our school, we will be hosting a New Family Orientation on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 pm in the cafeteria. During the orientation, you will receive important information including:
• Student Handbook
• Magnet Fees and Fee Breakdown
• Afterschool Care Information
• Name Change Information
• Volunteer Hours Expectations
• Dress Code Expectations
• Attendance, Academics, and Behavior Expectations
Additionally, families will have the opportunity to pay half of the magnet fees at the orientation meeting.
